Docks

Maumee River Yacht Club  has  85 slips for its members. There 300 yards of dockage in front of the club house and ample slips for visiting boaters. All docks have electric, water. The Club docks are protected just inside on of the Maumee Rivers small Islands. 

          

 

Boating Activities

 

  

The Fleet Captain arranges overnight cruises to various clubs and marinas.  Friday "Dingly" cruises will be planned during the boating season too.

 

Several extended cruise are planned through out the season. Members are encouraged to take part in the various cruises planned or suggest destinations a plane, train bus of automobile can take us.

 

Formal Functions

   

There are formal functions such as the Four Clubs, Commodore's Ball, Change or Watch and Opening of the ports that all members are encourage to attend.

Also there are many theme party through out the year if you have an idea the club is always looking for new ideas and reason for members to get together.

                                       

 

Dining Facilities 

 

   

Dining can be formal or casual at Maumee River, depending on the occasion the Club offers luncheons and dinners in our dining room, simpler meals are available at the out door grill during our boating season. Sunday champagne brunch in the main dining room are very popular and well attended as are the wine and cheese parties that are held through out the year.

 

The Club also has a Ball room which is available for family events and meetings.

The Tap Room which is located downstairs along side our docks has a large patio area that is perfect to relax with friends and watch your fellow boater go by.

 

 

 

                 

 

Ball Room 

 

MRYC is very proud of its third floor Ball Room.  Many functions such as Kids movie night, Board Meetings and private parties are held here.

 

Check with the manger for your event.

 

Burgee Store

The Burgee Store is located in the Tap Room. Many custom MRYC items can be found such as, burgees for your boat miscellaneous clothing and accessories for both men and women too.

HOURS: 11:00 - 1:00 every Tuesday and 5:00 - 7:00 every Friday or when ever Lucy is around!

 

Lucy always try's to fill your needs and wants.

The swimming pool is always a welcome sight to visiting boaters looking to relax with Friends and family after a long day in sun.

MRYC members also take full advantage of the pool for a fun and cool dip.          

 

 

Regular Weekly Activities (Summer Time)

Tuesday is a casual night at the club with  Dinner 5:30 to 9:00. Cocktail begins at 7:00 or sooner

 

Wednesday starts with a happy hour at the main bar with an assortment of hor d' oeuvres.

  

Thursday is another casual night better known as "First day of the weekend"

 

Friday night  is "TGIF". A very popular casual night at the club where friends meet at the bar for cocktails. An assortment of hor d'oeuvres from the kitchen are available if not the Pizza is great too. Dinner is available in the main dining room.

 

 

Regular Monthly Activities

Birthday/Anniversary:   Usually recognize in the Beacon

Board: meetings are held, the first Thursday of each month.

 

Tuna Club: Luncheon held the first Wednesday of each month.( when scheduled ) 

 

Fleet Captains: The men meet every Thursday for Drinks.

 

Ladies : The women meet on the third Friday for a cocktails and Aux. Business.

 

Beacon: The "beacon" is the club's monthly newsletter. The publication keeps all members informed of coming events and featured theme parties. Paula also included is a calendar of events for the month.
